Casey West, MD is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician. He graduated from UT Houston Medical School in 1999, and did his residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he completed his training in 2002. He was an ER doctor and QA director at St David's Medical Center in Austin for almost 20 years. As an ER doctor he has seen approximately 90,000 patients. Cases ranged from simple colds to critical illnesses, major traumas, orthopedic injuries, delivering babies, strokes, acute coronary syndromes, and pediatric care. Basically, if you can imagine it, he’s done it.
He is also an Air Force Veteran and served in the 59th Medical Wing at Lackland Air Force Base with the 59th Emergency Medicine Squadron. He comes from an Air Force family with his dad, sister, brothers, brother-in-law and nephew all having served.
He moved to South Tampa in 2023. He has 2 daughters ages 6 and 8.
